Since you haven't bought Far Cry 4 or 5 yet I'd definitely get 4 first. It's a really good game and you'll get an idea of Far Cry 5's mechanics. The price may even drop after you finish 4. No, I own both of them. So not sure where you are getting that idea from. I just said in my first post that I own both of them.
5.Disable full screen optimization on Far Cry 5.exe. You can do this by finding Far Cry 5.exe in the games main directory. Right click .exe and click properties & select compatibility tab. Also 4 might be cheaper by the time you come to play it. If you can only play one, then I'd say 4 was the better game overall. They are all flawed.
What's really worrying is almost all triple A games only use garbage SMAA, TAA or FXAA. Games such as Call of Duty WW2, Battlefield 1, F1 2017, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 5, the list keeps going on and on. Beautiful MSAA has been abondened like a used up prostitute because there fancy rendering engines "don't support it".
