The orange light comes on when I press the master control switch on the dash but when I press set+ it don’t start working. I’ve tested the brake paddle switch. Pin 1 is common, pin 2 is NC and pint 3 is NO. the clutch switch is hard to get to so I tested

hi, this happened to mine, tried new harness , pump, etc, it turned out to be the turbo waste gate actuator arm on top of turbo. its a common problem ive been told , it seizes and gives these symptoms. take the metal heat sheild off the turbo, you will see the arm on a pivot, soak in wd 40 and rock it to and fro to free it up. worth a try.mike.

If its a new ecu it will need a software download,security relearn and injector codes inputting - when you do it with T4 it leads you through all the needs inc taking the injector codes from the old ecu. Did two TD5 ecu's last week,one XA - 99my,one 2A - 02my.Both failed intermittently,then one died altogether.

Whilst purging (proper accelerator to the floor 5 times purge), the pump sounded loud as above and you could hear the fuel gushing - difficult to tell if there was air in there. 4. Hi Sandbug. I had the same problem with my Td5 (2003) loss of power coupled with huge amounts of smoke. The dealers also wanted to replace the injectors after replacing the fuel injector harness and fuel block but fortunatly some members advised against this. Eventually I only had to remove the MAF and EGR systems.
